Kurama sets the tablet down without a word to start, he is visibly outside, on the farm apparently. He offers a bright smile almost reflexively before his expression grows more somber when he starts speaking.

“With recent losses, the farm could really use help more than ever these days. In particular, those skilled with animal care or meal preparation. There's an extra kitchen now, I am concerned about food stores and I had wanted to start making meals for the clinic when that might be called for-”

A commotion in the background interrupts. He turns away from the screen to witness Fandaniel running across the property some distance away, being chased by a number of angry chickens and one Very Large rooster that older Chosen might recognize as Scramble. Fandaniel may or may not be carrying one of the chickens, but the animals don't seem to be interested in letting him off the hook too easily, either way. The magical barrier protecting the farm ensures no actual harm can occur on the property, and Kurama doesn't seem all that inclined to interfere with the spectacle, especially as the chickens appear to be winning.

“It seems some of us learn our lessons the hard way.”

It's not directed to the tablet, more to himself. He hasn’t turned back to the video or moved at all, if anything he may have forgotten about what he was doing, entirely.
